We're proud to see our CEO, Sibusiso Xaba, CFA make the Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans list for 2022. The M&G 200 Young South Africans is a list of individuals the Mail & Guardian considers to be the most influential 200 Young South Africans for the year. Some notable list makers include Trevor Noah, Loyiso Gola, Thuso Mdebu, and Bryan Habana.
As the first individual to represent the cannabis industry on the list, we're excited to see barriers being broken and stereotypes around cannabis changing. In order to unlock the potential of cannabis, and bring to reality President Ramaphosa's vision of creating 130,000 cannabis jobs, more needs to be done to bring to light the transformative power of cannabis to address healthcare, mental health, climate change, and industrialisation challenges.
In coming years, we're excited to see friends, colleagues, and clients from the cannabis industry make this list as this industry gains traction and begins to realise its full potential for the people of South Africa.
